Content Gems
Link share of things currently making my brain sparkle 🧠✨
I look forward to my “Admin Mondays” because after I clean the junk out of those inboxes and organize my saves, I’m left with a handful of emails and links to check out that spark an interest of mine.
I will never get to consuming all the interesting content out there, but here’s what I found worth sharing today:
This Life Auditor Facilitator script from TAAFT (There’s An AI For That). I ran it with Google Gemini Pro (thinking model) to reflect on my own life circumstances, and came up with a 30-day plan, a weekly goal, and reminder check-ins through Google. I really need things broken down like this for myself, or I get caught in the web of “everything that an artist needs to do”. I feel like this did a good job of looking at my life, where being an artist overlaps and blends all aspects. It also took my disability and limited bandwidth into consideration, which is something general advice always misses.
It also pointed to considerations that I’m already making work about my experience of isolation and connection.

Overall, really useful reflection. Let me know if you try it!
I read this by Damien Davis in Hyperallergic: When Artists Lose Their Archives
”…is not just money. It is performance. Artists are expected to perform being okay when they often are not. The art world rewards the appearance of stability. It punishes visible need.”
It’s exemplary of just how at odds the “Art World” actually is with artists. Intersectionality only adds to that difference. Human flourishing requires investment in artists, and not in the form of deeming chosen ones, but in the way of providing universal support. We’re so over this scarcity nonsense.
I listened to several podcasts recently from Ceri Hand’s Extraordinary Creatives Podcast
This episode with Memo Akten - one of my favorite artists working with technology- this episode is full of thoughts that could be from my head, but articulated much more clearly.
This episode with Lakwena Maciver - dives into identity, visibility, and vulnerability. I find it beneficial to hear from other artists who have clarity and multiplicity in their practice.
This episode was about me, not really, but the persistence of anxiety, being busy, not finishing work, and regulating the nervous system. Is this episode about you too?
Speaking of regulating one’s nervous system, I always recommend this device that I have, the Apollo Neuro. I use it daily to help get in gear for sleep, creative sessions, and social settings.
If you have anything interesting to share, or anything here resonates, tell me about it!
